Islanders beat Tampa on the road thanks to Sorokin's shutout
The New York Islanders hockey club beat the Tampa Bay Lightning in a National Hockey League (NHL) match thanks to a shutout by Russian goalkeeper Ilya Sorokin. The match took place on the night of December 6-7 and ended with a score of 2:0.
Caluma Ritchie (53rd minute) and Casey Sizikasa (60th minute) scored for the winning team. In addition, Sorokin made 32 saves and scored a shutout.
