The power transmission line tower was damaged as a result of an attack by Ukrainian unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) on the Rostov region. This was announced on December 7 by the governor of the region, Yuri Slyusar.

"In the Sholokhovsky district, on the outskirts of Kolundaevsky farm, a power transmission tower was damaged," he said in a message on his Telegram channel.

According to the governor, 250 people were left without electricity as a result of the incident. Restoration work will begin during daylight hours.

In addition, Slyusar added that the air defense forces repelled a drone attack on Kamensk, as well as the Sholokhovsky and Chertkovsky districts of the region. The governor clarified that there were no casualties among the population.
