The United States will not send its troops to Ukraine. This was announced on December 6 at a forum organized by the Ronald Reagan Presidential Foundation in California, by US President Donald Trump's special envoy Keith Kellogg.

"We are not going to send troops," he replied to a question about attempts to put pressure on Russia to end the Ukrainian conflict.

Earlier in the day, Kellogg said that the key issues for resolving the Ukrainian crisis are the status of the Zaporizhia Nuclear Power Plant (NPP) and the Donetsk People's Republic (DPR), and their solution will be a decisive factor for further settlement.

Pentagon Chief Pete Hegseth said at the same time that the United States continues to make efforts to resolve the Ukrainian conflict. Hegseth added that although the American president is ready for dialogue, no country in the world should doubt his willingness to use force to protect the interests of the country.
