This is stated in a report by the Potsdam Institute for Climate Impact Research (PIK), published on the Planetary Health Check (PHC) website.

"In order to preserve the stability and stability of the Earth, we must return the planet to its planetary boundaries. Observe them, and the Earth will remain our safe home — if you violate them, we risk irreversible damage to our own life support system. Today, seven of the nine borders have been violated," the PIK report says.

The annual report provides assessments of the planetary security boundaries and highlights particularly important aspects of the planet's health. It is specified that this report for the first time noted the problem of ocean acidification. According to the researchers, this will affect the functioning of marine ecosystems. This violation was the seventh violation of the boundaries that ensure the stable development of life on Earth.
