In Moscow, the first days of December without snow are observed for the fourth time in the 21st century. This was announced on December 6 by Mikhail Leus, a leading specialist at the Phobos Weather Center.

"The first five days of December without snow cover, as this year, were observed in December 2009, 2008 and 2006," the Telegram channel said.

The forecaster noted that in 2006 and 2008, snow fell in the capital only on December 19 and 23, respectively. He noted that a snowless beginning of December in Moscow is not uncommon.

Tatiana Pozdnyakova, a leading specialist at the Meteonosti news agency, reported on December 5 that forecasters predict light snow in the coming week, and the next batch of snow in Moscow should be expected either at the end of the second or beginning of the third decade of December. She added that so far December will correspond to November in terms of temperature.
