According to the results of the popular vote, the main words of 2025 were chosen, they were "anxiety", artificial intelligence (AI) and "okak". This was announced on December 6 in the press service of the project of the book network "Chit-gorod".

"The main word of the year was determined by Internet users during voting on the website of the book network "Chitai Gorod" from April to December 2025. It became "anxiety" — the word gained the most votes from users (36%)," RIA Novosti news agency quotes the text of the message.
