The international cultural project "Days of the Hermitage", organized by the main museum of Russia with the support of the Ministry of Culture of the Republic of Serbia, has started in Belgrade. The central exhibition was the exhibition "Peter the Great and Serbia". The December 6 footage is published by Izvestia.

"A huge ship right in the Russian House in Belgrade. The Hermitage Days are held here, an exhibition dedicated to the life and work of Peter the Great," said journalist Sergey Petrov.

He also noted the maximum interactivity of the exhibition and stressed that it was possible to learn about Serbian historical figures who participated, for example, in the Battle of Gangut or raised the first Serbian uprising with the participation, of course, of Peter I.

Special attention will be paid to Peter the Great's Serbian associates: Admiral Matija Zmajevic, diplomat Savva Vladislavich-Raguzinsky, and military commander Mikhailo Miloradovich.

Earlier, on December 4, the Russian Foreign Ministry reported that commemorative events on the occasion of the Day of the Unknown Soldier were held in Serbia, and representatives of the Russian Embassy in Serbia took part in the wreath-laying ceremony. In addition, the press service added that, in addition to representatives of embassies, members of local governments, regional committees of the Union of Veterans of the People's Liberation Wars of Serbia and the Russian-Serbian Friendship Society also attended the commemorative ceremony.

All important news is on the Izvestia channel in the MAX messenger.
