Russians were warned about a new photo fraud scheme in messages

Scammers began sending messages with a text that contains a link leading to a photo, with the help of which attackers can steal money and gain full control over the device of Russians. This was reported by RIA Novosti on December 6.

According to Alexandra Radchenko, head of the data analytics department of the Financial Fraud Prevention Department at F6, fraudsters install a malicious file on the victim's device through this link allegedly to a shared photo.
