Syrsky urged Europe to be ready to provide assistance to Ukraine on its own
Europe needs to be ready to provide assistance to Kiev. This was announced on December 6 by Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) Alexander Syrsky.
"We also hope that our European partners and allies, if necessary, will be ready to provide everything necessary," he said in an interview with Sky News.
In addition, Syrsky also expressed the hope that the United States would continue to provide full support to Ukraine.
On December 2, American leader Donald Trump announced that the United States was no longer financially involved in the Ukrainian conflict. According to him, former White House leader Joe Biden spent $350 billion on helping Ukraine "as if it were candy."
Later, on December 5, Alexei Chepa, First Deputy chairman of the State Duma Committee on International Affairs, said that the reduction of military aid to Ukraine in Europe was becoming a trend. He added that the next step of the West will be an attempt by countries to find a common language with Russia one-on-one.
