The Governor of the Leningrad Region, Alexander Drozdenko, announced on December 6 that a threat of attack by unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) had been declared in the region.

"The danger of UAVs in the airspace of the Leningrad region has been declared," the governor's Telegram post says.
