The calculation of the M-46 cannon destroyed the AFU stronghold in the Red Army direction

Servicemen of the 130-millimeter M-46 cannon crew of the self-propelled artillery regiment of the 27th Guards Motorized Rifle Division of the Center group of forces discovered and destroyed a stronghold and personnel of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) in the Red Army area of the special military operation (SVO). This was announced on December 6 by the Russian Defense Ministry.

During aerial reconnaissance using unmanned aerial vehicles, an accumulation of Ukrainian Armed Forces personnel at a fortified stronghold was recorded. Having received the coordinates of the targets, the gunners promptly prepared the gun, setting up combat storage to protect it from enemy FPV drones, and began to carry out the firing task.

With the help of 130-millimeter high-explosive shells, the gunners launched a series of strikes, completely destroying all targets at a distance of more than 17 km from a closed firing position. After completing the task, the crew quickly disguised the gun and took refuge in the bunker.

"The task was received and worked out at the enemy's stronghold. We work on everything, both on manpower, and on artillery, on their infantry, we work on serifs. We work on whatever goals come up. Our team is well—coordinated and we have been working with them since the very beginning," said Alexander, the commander of the cannon.

On December 5, the Russian Defense Ministry reported that the operators of attack UAVs of the troops of the Vostok group of forces had identified and destroyed hexacopters and AFU controls in Gulyai-Pole, Zaporizhia region. Among the downed aircraft were heavy hexacopters of the Baba Yaga type.
