The deputy mayor spoke about the winners of the #Myplace award from Moscow

Thirteen projects from Moscow have won the #Myplace International Award. This was announced by Deputy Mayor of the capital Natalia Sergunina.

"The real leaders have reached the finals — the authors of dozens of important initiatives from different regions of our country. Almost one in three of them represented the capital. On behalf of the Moscow Government, congratulations to all the laureates!" said Natalia Sergunina.

In 2025, the competition attracted over 52 thousand applications, of which 4.2 thousand were received from residents of the capital. The award ceremony was held at the Rossiya National Center. Among the participants are volunteers, entrepreneurs, representatives of government agencies and non—profit organizations.

The winner in the Volunteer of the Year category was Anna Pluzhnikova from Moscow, a certified psychologist who has been volunteering for many years, despite her disability and the presence of a metal structure in her spine.

In the NGO Leader nomination, two Muscovites shared the first place. Alexey Zarov, a representative of St. Alexy's Central Clinical Hospital, was noted for the development of palliative care and medical volunteerism. Dmitry Potapov, head of the youth movement "Volunteer Company of the Combat Brotherhood", was awarded for humanitarian work in new regions. Vera Mitina, President of the Nika Foundation for Assistance to Homeless Animals, took the second place.

The silver medal in the "Heroes of Our Time" nomination was awarded to the Country for Children Foundation for the project "The Day After Tomorrow", which supports the children of ITS participants and residents of border territories. The second place in the category "Leader of social Change in SMEs" was awarded to the project "Drop the Toy", focused on helping patients with Duchenne muscular dystrophy.

The third place in the nomination "Sustainable Future" was taken by the Vernadsky Environmental Foundation with the Green Spring campaign. In the "Code of Mercy" category, the third position was taken by the Danilovtsy movement, which implements more than 50 social events per week and annually supports about five thousand wards.
