- The Victory Museum has prepared about 6 tons of decorations for the New Year's game "Victory Tree"
Over 120 kg of paraphernalia and about 6 tons of decorations were prepared at the Victory Museum for the annual interactive program "Victory Tree". The New Year's Eve team game starts on December 20th. In total, over the course of three weeks, the organizers will hold more than 450 exciting adventures. For many years, the Victory Tree has been considered the best New Year's performance in Moscow.
The New Year's team competition of the museum on Poklonnaya Gora is very popular among young residents and guests of the capital, as its format differs from ordinary Christmas trees. This year, for the first time, the program will be held in a new large-scale exhibition "The Path to Victory". The children will not only be involved in the theatrical action, but also become more familiar with the history of their country and the exploits of their ancestors. They will understand from their own experience, even if it is a game experience, what duty, wit, mutual assistance and a feat are.

"The Path to Victory Museum space is a large–scale and emotional journey through the heroic pages of the Great Patriotic War. Located in the main museum building on Poklonnaya Gora on an area of almost 4.5 thousand square meters, the exposition recreates in detail the key events of 1941-1945. Authentic exhibits, multimedia technologies and impressive dioramas help guests immerse themselves in the events of the past," said Maria Gumenyuk, head of the Victory Tree project.
In the story, the Snow Maiden finds herself in trouble — she accidentally falls into the trap of an old military film. The boys and girls will have to go back in time and help her come back. The boys will find a difficult but fascinating journey through time, from the harsh days of December 1941 to the victorious May 1945. To successfully pass this test and return the Snow Maiden, the children will have to show the qualities that helped our people win: courage, honesty, justice, kindness, reliability and loyalty. The young participants of the program, like real researchers, will restore the archival film frame by frame. During the game, they will meet the brave heroes of the past, overcome many obstacles and enemy traps.

"There are many characters involved in the interactive game, not just the traditional Santa Claus and the Snow Maiden. Children immerse themselves in the atmosphere of the 40s of the last century, get acquainted with the heroes of that time, see the elements of everyday life, uniforms and clothes of that time. In total, more than 50 artists interact with the guys," emphasizes Maria Gumenyuk.
"Victory Tree" is a combination of a deep study of the historical theme of the program's plot and a vibrant game format, which distinguishes it from purely entertainment performances. Every year, the Victory Museum creates a completely new story and develops original tasks, which makes the program unique and does not allow it to become outdated, and the highest professionalism of the museum team guarantees the quality of immersion and the accuracy of the details.

More than 5,000 square meters have been allocated for the New Year's interactive game. About 400 museum staff and 300 volunteers are involved in the program. Having completed all the tasks, the children meet Santa Claus and light the Victory Tree in the majestic Hall of the Generals. Each young guest will receive a New Year's themed gift from the Victory Museum.
