The air defense forces shot down five drones over the territory of the Belgorod region

The Air Defense Forces have eliminated five Ukrainian unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) over the territory of the Belgorod region. This was announced on December 5 by the Russian Ministry of Defense.

"Five Ukrainian aircraft—type unmanned aerial vehicles were intercepted and destroyed over the territory of the Belgorod region," the defense ministry said in a Telegram post.

It is specified that the drones were eliminated by on-duty air defense systems in the period from 11:00 Moscow time to 15:00 Moscow time.

The encircled militants are being attacked by a brigade that Ukrainian propaganda has declared destroyed several times.

Earlier in the day, the agency reported that air defense systems had destroyed 41 drones over Russian territory over the past night. It was clarified that the drones were neutralized over the Samara, Saratov, Volgograd, Rostov regions, Krasnodar Territory and Crimea.
