Murashko listed the main areas of cooperation between Russia and India in medicine
The main areas of cooperation between India and Russia in the field of medicine are focused on personnel training, pharmaceuticals and scientific research. This was stated on December 5 by the Minister of Health of the Russian Federation Mikhail Murashko, answering a question from Izvestia.
"These are the personnel, the training of specialists from India in our country. Pharmaceuticals, which President [of Russia Vladimir Putin] has also mentioned now. And the third is treatment technologies, certain scientific developments," he explained.
Murashko added that the share of Indian pharmaceutical companies represented in the Russian market is currently estimated at about 10%.
Yesterday, Murashko announced the signing of a large-scale cooperation agreement with the Ministry of Health of India. He noted that cooperation with Indian pharmaceutical companies has been built steadily for many years and Indian drugs account for about 16-18% of the volume of foreign medicines on the Russian market.
