Rosneft presents the Orenburg Winter Patterns car route
The new tourist route "Patterns of the Orenburg winter" is presented. This was reported in the press service of Rosneft, which initiated the project together with the Ministry of Economic Development, Investment, Tourism and External Relations of the Orenburg Region.
The 294 km route starts in the capital of the region and runs along the snow-covered mountain slopes of the Eastern Orenburg region to the Kuvandyksky district. Motorists can start their journey by visiting the Orenburg Down Shawl Gallery. There, guests will be invited to explore the exposition, take part in creative workshops and listen to lectures dedicated to the symbol of Orenburg region.
The next stop on the route is the Down Fashion House. This creative space is a workshop where, when creating modern accessories, souvenirs and clothes, they turn to the traditions of an ancient craft that originated in the 18th century.
In the National Village complex, travelers can learn about the history, culture and customs of the local peoples. The open-air museum features 10 farmsteads.
Heading east, tourists can visit the Orenburg Down Jackets eco-farm and learn how famous shawls are made from goat down. During the tour, visitors will see downy goats, which are bred by breeding local breeds, get acquainted with the process of processing down and making thread, and also try to knit an element of the Orenburg shawl.
Another stop is Krasnaya Gora, located in the Saraktash district of the region. The scenery of the 18th century fortress was built for the filming of the film based on the works of A.S. Pushkin "The Captain's Daughter" and "The Story of Pugachev". The Red Mountain offers a picturesque view of the surroundings, the river at the foot and the village of Saraktash. One of the attractions of this village is the Holy Trinity Monastery of Mercy.
Next, the route passes through a picturesque area where the steppes give way to the foothills of the Urals. This is where Russia's "Stone Belt" begins. The chain of ancient hills has become a place of attraction for tourists — there is a walking route "Seven peaks of the steppe Urals".
The final point of the route is the Kuvandyk 365 ski resort. Translated from Bashkir, kuvandyk means the valley of happiness. There are 11 trails on the slopes of the resort.
The presentation of the project took place at the Bashneft gas station (part of Rosneft). The route "Patterns of the Orenburg Winter" is presented on the Horizons of Russia information and service platform.: Come with us!"
The Orenburg Winter Patterns has become the fifth tourist route developed by Rosneft together with the regional authorities. In 2024, the interregional route "Force of Nature" from Orenburg to Ufa, "Relic Pearl" from the capital of the region to Buzuluksky Bor was opened. This year, the routes "Steppe Stories" from Buzuluk to Aksakovo, "Ural Wind" from Samara to Orenburg were presented.
