Former Deputy Defense Minister Timur Ivanov, while in jail, said he did not understand the essence of the Prosecutor General's Office's claim for the seizure of property, and also called it "very voluminous."

"This is my first time participating in the case and I do not have access to the materials, the claim is very voluminous and concerns the property of other persons, among others. In this regard, it is unclear to me exactly what questions the plaintiff has to me, I do not understand how to qualify this claim," RIA Novosti quoted him as saying.

It is noted that Ivanov also asked the court to clarify exactly which objects and for which periods explanations are expected from him. According to him, the claim of the Prosecutor General's Office concerns not only his property, but also the property of other defendants.
