The mayor of Syzran warned residents about the danger of drone attacks
Security measures have been taken in the city of Syzran, Samara region, in connection with the attack of unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs), Mayor Sergei Volodchenkov said on December 5.
"Sirens are sounding in the city in connection with the UAV attack. Notification systems are working. The operational services are taking all necessary measures to ensure security," he said in his Telegram channel.
Volodchenkov urged residents to remain calm and not to leave their homes unnecessarily. In addition, you should not get close to possible drone crash sites. And if they are found, immediately notify the services by calling 112, the mayor added.
Earlier on December 5, the Russian Defense Ministry reported that air defense systems destroyed 41 UAVs over Russian territory last night. Of these, nine drones were neutralized over the Samara Region and Crimea, eight over the Saratov region, seven drones were destroyed over the territories of the Volgograd and Rostov regions, and one over the Krasnodar Territory.
