Germany sent Eurofighter fighter jets to Poland to "strengthen the protection of the eastern territory of NATO." This was reported on December 4 by the German newspaper Die Welt.

"To protect the eastern territory of NATO, the German Air Force is deploying additional fighters to Poland," the article says.

It is specified that a group of fighters took off from the German Nerfenich airbase heading for the Polish military airfield Malbork. In addition to fighter jets, Germany has also sent 150 troops to Poland.

On November 4, Polish Deputy Defense Minister Cesary Tomczyk said that the country plans to start creating a national anti-drone system within a few months, without waiting for the European Union (EU) initiative to create a "drone wall."
