The Moscow Arbitration Court declared bankrupt the Fashion Continent company, which owned the Incity women's clothing store chain. This was reported on December 4 by RIA Novosti with reference to the case file.

It is specified that the bankruptcy procedure began in July at the request of the debtor, individual entrepreneur Dmitry Zimin. The court included the owner's claims against the retailer in the amount of more than 136 million rubles in the register of creditors' claims of the "Fashion Continent".

According to the case file, Zimin acquired the rights of claim to the "Fashionable Continent" from the Finservice bank. The retailer owed this bank two loan agreements in 2023 and 2024. During the litigation, Igor Maslov, a member of the interregional self-regulatory organization of arbitration managers "Assistance", was appointed interim manager.

It is specified that 52 stores operated under his Incity and Deseo brands in Moscow, St. Petersburg, Rostov-on-Don, Nizhny Novgorod and other Russian cities.

On November 14, a Moscow court declared bankrupt Ziyavudin Magomedov, who previously headed the Summa group and is serving time in a case of embezzlement of 11 billion rubles. It was reported that the entrepreneur's property is to be sold at auction as part of the bankruptcy procedure.
