Colonel of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) Mykola Dzyaman (listed in the Russian Federation as a terrorist and extremist) was sentenced in absentia to life in prison for ordering the downing of an IL-76 plane carrying captured AFU fighters. This was reported on December 4 in the press service of the 2nd Western District Military Court.
"The Ukrainian commander Dzyaman, on whose orders the aircraft were shot down over the Bryansk region, was sentenced to life imprisonment," TASS quoted the text of the message.
