Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi will personally meet Russian President Vladimir Putin upon his arrival in India. Footage of the arrival of the motorcade of the head of the Indian government to the meeting place is published by Izvestia on December 4.

Earlier in the day, Putin said in an interview with India Today that he was very happy about the upcoming meeting with Modi, whom he considers his friend.
On November 28, the Kremlin's press service announced that Putin would pay a state visit to India on December 4-5. It is expected that the delegations of the Russian Federation and India will also discuss the current international and regional agenda.
