The market of new heavy trucks in the Russian Federation in November fell by 46%
The market for new large-capacity trucks (HCVs; gross weight over 16 tons) in Russia decreased by 46% in November this year compared to the same month last year. Compared to October 2025, the market decreased by 21%. This was reported on December 4 by the analytical agency Autostat.
In total, almost 4,000 such trucks were sold in Russia in November. KAMAZ accounted for a third of the market, with a circulation of 1,314 copies. China's Sitrak and FAW also entered the top three (717 and 461 units, respectively), together they own about 30% of the market. Next came the Chinese Shacman (302 units) and the Belarusian MAZ (266 units).
Among the models, the Sitrak C7H tractor became the bestseller, with a market share of 18%.
According to the agency, 41.8 thousand new large-capacity trucks were sold in Russia in 11 months of this year, which is 56% less than from January to November 2024.
Earlier, on November 10, it became known that the production units of KAMAZ PJSC returned to work in a five-day working week. At the end of July, the company announced that it would switch to a one-day work week starting on August 1, partly due to the lack of market growth prospects. At the end of August, the order to switch to a three-day working week, which had been under consideration since September, was canceled. At that time, the company said that the market had begun to stabilize "at low levels."
