According to YakutiaMedia news agency, the attackers used various deception schemes. The scammers offered the airline employee to purchase real estate at a low price. The victim lost 2.4 million rubles.

The fraudsters communicated with the first-year student of one of the educational institutions on behalf of Rosfinmonitoring and banks. The girl transferred 346 thousand rubles to outside accounts. Similarly, the criminals deceived a researcher, the woman lost 1.5 million rubles.

In addition, under the guise of a security officer, the conman entered into communication with the daughter of an employee of the scientific center. The teenager transferred 190 thousand rubles to outside accounts.

In Buryatia, fraudsters deceived a pensioner twice. In October, a 55-year-old man transferred 21 thousand rubles to outside accounts under the pretext of receiving income from investments, and then lost 2.5 million rubles, hoping to receive legal services.
