The first digital sports center in the Arctic was opened in Murmansk

A digital center has been opened in Murmansk in the Valley of Comfort. It became the first digital sports center in the Arctic. Anyone can practice esports and physical education there. The complex is a combination of equipment for both.

Bi-port news agency, referring to the regional government, writes that the center has playgrounds for mini-football, strength training and street ball. Virtual reality zones are also open to visitors. They installed game consoles and computers there. Modular stands were installed inside the playing areas.

The work of the center was opened for competitions in rhythm simulator, two-man tactical shooting and digital basketball.

The agency clarifies that the construction of the center began in 2024.

Earlier it was reported that the world's first international multisport tournament "Games of the Future" was held in Kazan from February 21 to March 3, 2024. It became a key industry event last year.
