A Russian educational agency has opened in India
The first branch of the Russian Educational Agency has started operating in New Delhi. This was reported by the corporation "Synergy", which initiated the project together with the company "Innopraktika.India".
At the educational center, Indian students will be able to learn about the possibilities of studying in Russia. Representatives of the branch will regularly hold presentations of Russian educational programs, open days and educational events. The center's specialists will provide a full range of services for admission to Russian universities: select a university and choose an educational program, organize preparatory courses and provide support in obtaining visas and all necessary documents.
As representatives of Synergy noted, the Russian higher education system attracts foreign applicants with high-quality programs and relatively low tuition fees. The most popular fields of study among students from abroad are medicine, management, engineering, and IT.
"It is important for us not only to provide foreign applicants with information about Russian universities. They can find all this on the Internet if they wish. Our task is to help them prepare for admission. That's why we select specialized courses, help with paperwork, and simplify cultural adaptation," said Natalia Popova, First Deputy General Director of Innopraktika.
Russians Russian language and culture will be popularized in an important area of the agency's activity. On Thursday, December 4, the first open lessons "Bridge of Friendship: Russia and India" were held. They will be held in local schools in the near future.
According to representatives of Synergy, the agency's activities are aimed at increasing the number of foreign students in Russian universities to 500,000 people, as stipulated by the instructions of President Vladimir Putin. By opening a branch, the initiators of the project intend to expand the export of Russian educational services. The education of Indian students at domestic universities will contribute to the deepening of humanitarian cooperation between the two countries.
The plans for next year are to send more than 10,000 Indian students to study in Russia. In addition, the organizers intend to expand the geography of the educational agency's presence in friendly countries — China, Egypt, Iran and others. The organizers recalled that in many countries of the global South, high positions in government and business are now occupied by graduates of Soviet and Russian universities. This is one of the important factors that states continue to remain loyal to Russia.
"Graduates of Russian universities have always been and remain ambassadors of Russian culture in the world. At one time, Soviet educational institutions gained recognition and respect in many countries, including India. Russian universities are their direct heirs, providing a high level of education. The educational agency in Delhi will continue the tradition and preserve the continuity of generations of Indians who have received high—quality higher education in our country," said Vadim Lobov, President of Synergy Corporation.
