Vechernaya Moskva employees have received significant awards
On December 3, the winners of the First-hand Information contest were awarded at the Moscow Government Situation Center.
This year, 171 applications were considered for participation in the competition. "Evening Moscow" has received several awards at once. The business edition won in the nomination "The best media coverage of the topic "Protect, save, be proud". The award was presented by Yulia Kazakova, First Deputy Head of the Moscow Department of Mass Media and Advertising.
"I would like to mention separately how many wonderful journalistic and photographic works there have been on patriotic subjects. Among other things, we are talking about the 80th anniversary of the Great Victory. Correspondents make very warm and lively reports with veterans and families of fighters. These projects help young people to remember our defenders," Yulia Kazakova said.
The award was presented to Veronika Ushakova, the editor of the News Service.
"We are grateful to the Media and Advertising Department for such a high appreciation of our work. We write texts about the successes of our soldiers at the front, about volunteers and other people who contribute to our common victory," says Veronika Ushakova.
The business issue was also awarded in the nomination "The best media coverage of the topic "A city for life. The city of the future."
The jury noted the publication Moskovsky Zhurnal for its in-depth historical research. The History of the Russian State" in the nomination "The best media coverage of the topic "The History of Moscow", and in the special nomination — the website project vm.ru "A Month before Victory" and a joint project with the Victory Museum — "Faces of Victory".
The weekly edition won in the nomination "Best media coverage of the topic "Everything starts with a family." The publication cycles "Not a family, but gold" and "Seven on the benches" became the best. And the project "Walking Together" of the online publication "VM" was recognized as the "Best video about Moscow". Two photographs of our guys were recognized as the best photographs of Moscow among the federal and city media: photojournalists Pelagia Zamyatina and Alexander Kochubey.
