Ex-Deputy Minister of Transport of Khabarovsk sentenced to 8.5 years in a penal colony

The Khabarovsk court sentenced Denis Pronkin, former deputy regional Minister of Transport and Road Management, and Boris Goldgamera, executive director of a commercial organization. This was reported on December 4 in the press service of the regional prosecutor's office.

"The Central District Court of Khabarovsk has handed down a verdict in the criminal case against <...> Pronkin and <...> Goldgamer," the Telegram channel said.

It is specified that the men were charged under Part 6 of Article 290 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation ("Receiving a bribe"), Part 5 of Article 291 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation ("Giving a bribe"). The court found that Pronkin and the head of the Khabarovsk Management Committee received more than 29 million rubles in the form of money and property services from a representative of the Goldgamer company from 2021 to 2023. It was an illegal reward for helping the company win the auction and conclude government contracts for road repairs in the Vaninsky and Sovetsko-Gavansky districts.

The total amount of the alleged bribe was 57 million rubles, but the officials were detained while receiving the next part of the funds. Pronkin was sentenced to eight years and six months of strict regime, a fine of 114 million rubles and a ban on holding senior positions in the civil service for two years. Goldgamer was fined 2.2 million rubles. The investigation into the head of the Khabarovsk department has been temporarily suspended.

On December 3, the press service of the courts of general jurisdiction reported that the Basmanny Court of Moscow had arrested former State Duma deputy Anatoly Voronovsky in a case of receiving a particularly large bribe. It was clarified that the former deputy was arrested for one month and eight days. He is accused of accepting bribes worth more than 25 million rubles.
