Three people died in an accident in the Ulyanovsk region.
As a result of an accident involving a truck on the M5 Ural highway in the Ulyanovsk region, three people were killed. This was reported on December 4 in the press service of the Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Russian Federation for the region.
It is specified that the Lada Kalina car drove into the oncoming lane and collided with a DAF truck. After that, the heavy truck made a descent into a ditch, followed by a fire.
"As a result of the accident, the driver of the car and two passengers (a woman born in 1996, a woman born in 1974) died at the scene," the regional Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Russian Federation said in a Telegram post.
Traffic police officers are working at the site, all the circumstances of the incident are being established.
On December 3, the State Traffic Inspectorate of the Russian Interior Ministry reported that 245 road accidents had occurred on Russian roads over the past day, in which 32 people were killed and 304 injured. There are 19 young pedestrians among the injured.
