Overhaul of school No. 14 started in Kolomna, Moscow region

Major repairs of the school building No. 14 have begun in Kolomna, Moscow Region. This is reported by the regional Ministry of the construction complex.

We are talking about the building at 11 Zaitseva Street. The renovation project provides for a complete replacement of engineering networks and plumbing, renovation of the interior, including the gym and food hall, as well as the installation of new furniture and equipment.

In addition, it is planned to install video surveillance and fire safety systems. Landscaping will be carried out on the adjacent territory.

According to the online publication Podmoskovye Segodnya, the area of the academic building is more than 2.1 thousand square meters. m. The contractor has already entered the facility and is currently carrying out dismantling work.

The renovation is carried out within the framework of the regional state program for the overhaul of social infrastructure facilities of the national project "Youth and Children". The work is scheduled to be completed by September 1, 2026.

On November 1, it was reported that the overhaul of secondary school No. 5 with in-depth study of individual subjects started in Naro-Fominsk. The builders will have to repair the facade and roof, carry out interior decoration, equip the entrance group, replace utilities and improve the surrounding area.
