A commemorative event dedicated to the Day of the Unknown Soldier was held on the territory of the federal military memorial "Pantheon of Defenders of the Fatherland" of the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation in the Moscow region. The December 3 footage is published by Izvestia.

It is specified that during the event, participants laid wreaths and flowers at the Grave of the Unknown Soldier. In addition, the remains of four soldiers of the Workers' and Peasants' Red Army (Red Army) who died during the Great Patriotic War (WWII), found by search teams, were transferred for subsequent burial in the Krasnodar and Perm Territories. The fallen Red Army soldiers were also posthumously awarded state awards.

A delegation of the Federation Council of the Russian Federation, representatives of the Ministry of Defense, the Main Directorate of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia for the city of Moscow, the administration of the Krylovsky district of the Krasnodar Territory, Kudymkarsky, Sivensky and Kochevsky districts of the Perm Territory, the Mytishchi urban district of the Moscow region, relatives of Red Army soldiers, as well as representatives of search, veteran and youth patriotic organizations were invited to participate in the event.

On the same day, flowers were laid at the memorial on the Day of the Unknown Soldier in Yekaterinburg. It is specified that the Eternal Flame was brought to the memorial by Mikhail Chislov, a veteran of the Great Patriotic War (WWII), back in 2015. Since then, people have been coming every year on December 3 to honor the memory of all the soldiers who fell in battle.

In Berlin, flowers were also laid at the memorial to Soviet soldiers in the Tiergarten on the occasion of the Day of the Unknown Soldier. It was noted that the event was attended by Russian Ambassador Sergey Nechaev, employees of the Russian diplomatic mission, as well as teachers and students of the embassy's school.
