The Moscow air defense system is doing everything possible to repel terrorist attacks, surpassing the protection systems of other countries. This was announced on December 3 by Moscow Mayor Sergei Sobyanin during a direct line.

"The air defense forces are doing everything possible to protect the city from these terrorist attacks. In my opinion, they are doing it, and they are doing it better than the most advanced countries, which miss many more attacks than Moscow," RIA Novosti quoted him as saying.

Along with this, Sobyanin expressed gratitude to the military-industrial complex (MIC) for supplying the city with military equipment.

The day before, Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov positively assessed the work of the Russian defense industry. He noted that the Russian military-industrial complex has managed to increase production volumes so that it is possible not only to cover the needs of the army during a special military operation, but also to work for export.

Prior to that, on November 27, Russian President Vladimir Putin noted that Russia must first meet its needs in the defense industry in the context of a special operation. Aviation equipment, in particular airplanes and helicopters, is a priority export area.
