Sergunina spoke about the Moscow Venture Fund's support for innovation

Since the beginning of 2025, the Moscow Venture Fund has helped attract 2 billion rubles of investments for innovative companies. This was announced by Deputy Mayor of the capital Natalia Sergunina.

"Since the beginning of 2025, with the support of the fund, the capital's enterprises have attracted two billion rubles — one and a half times more than in the same period in 2024," Sergunina said.

The Moscow Venture Fund turns 20 in December. It provides innovative companies with development tools, from grants and soft loans to training programs to help them find investors.

According to Sergunina, the fund offers various opportunities for launching and scaling technology projects. For example, graduates of accelerators and winners of metropolitan competitions are given grants of up to 1 million rubles to refine their solutions.

Companies with a finished product can receive a preferential loan for business development of up to 50 million rubles with the help of the fund. Concessional loans of up to 300 million rubles are available to enterprises with an effective business model. Mature technology companies planning to enter the securities market are provided with a preferential target loan of up to 100 million rubles.

The Foundation has also developed several training programs and a service. Three products are focused on the tech business, and one is aimed at future investors. In particular, the course "Investment Project Packaging" is aimed at preparing a presentation for potential partners. The Investment Expertise service provides a comprehensive assessment of a product, analyzing its strengths and weaknesses. The Path to IPO program was developed in collaboration with stock market experts directly involved in the securities offering process.

In addition, investors have the opportunity to join the practice-oriented course "Venture Academy". Since 2021, more than a thousand people have become its graduates, who have invested about 550 million rubles.
