Artyom Missyura, a serial poisoner from Balashikha, wanted to burn down the car of his friend Konstantin's girlfriend after he drugged him with deadly poison. This was announced on December 3 by the victim herself, speaking in the courtroom, the Izvestia correspondent reports.

She said that Missyura had been jealous of Konstantin since childhood, but called him his best friend. According to her, Artyom had done nasty things on the sly more than once, trying to put his friend in a bad light, and for others their friendship seemed strange.

On the day of the tragedy, the poisoner was spending time at Konstantin and his girlfriend's house, and when he left, he hugged his friend and asked about his well-being. At night, the man felt unwell and lost his bearings in space, and an ambulance was called for him.

Upon learning of Konstantin's death, Missyura calmly watched the general panic, and after he was not invited to the funeral, he began to threaten his friend's girlfriend and intended to burn her car. After studying the history of the browser used by Missyura in their house, the girl discovered that he was trying to find out how chemicals work and was looking for information on how to crack the door.

Earlier, an acquaintance of the poisoner suggested that he could test the method of killing his best friend on his fiancee. In January 2024, Missyura's lover was hospitalized with poisoning after drinking a cocktail he had prepared. Three weeks later, Konstantin was admitted to the intensive care unit with the same symptoms.

In September, it was also reported that Missyura filled his stepfather's coffee machine with a "potion" of chemicals and replaced spices in his house with poison. At the same time, the man, not realizing that his stepson was poisoning him, was more than once surprised by the strange taste of the products and noticed the consequences of their use. In addition, the defendant wanted to give his uncle and grandmother a deadly liquid disguised as "holy water."

Missyura was detained on July 19, 2024. According to the investigation, from January to June, the suspect, while in his parents' apartment, poured strong chemicals into their products with the aim of fatal poisoning. Later, a surveillance camera was installed in the apartment, which recorded how Missyura poured toxic substances into his parents' food. On August 25 of this year, Missyura fully admitted his guilt.
