Hongqi postponed the premiere of the luxury sedan L1 in Russia
Hongqi plans to premiere the new L1 luxury sedan in Russia in the first quarter of 2026. This was reported in the press service of the brand, according to the analytical agency "Autostat" on December 3. Initially, this model was planned to be launched on the Russian market by the end of 2025.
Currently, Hongqi L1 is still undergoing certification procedures. In Russia, the sedan will be offered with a turbocharged 380 hp (570 Nm) V6 engine combined with an 8-band automatic transmission and an all-wheel drive system.
The length of the sedan is 5,353 mm. The interior is made using natural leather and wood. In the Chinese domestic market, the model is also available with a 490 hp four-liter V8 engine.
In China, this model is known as Hongqi Guoya, where the sedan costs 1.4–1.86 million yuan (about 16-21 million rubles in translation). In the first eight months of 2025, 181 copies of Guoya were sold in China.
Earlier, on November 14, it was reported that the Hongqi HS6 hybrid crossover set a Guinness World record for plug-in hybrid vehicles (PHEV) by traveling 2,327 km without refueling or recharging.
