Geely Emgrand sedan withdrawn from sale in Russia
Geely has withdrawn the Emgrand sedan from sale in Russia, the model has already been dropped from the line on the brand's official website. The press service of the Chinese brand said that new deliveries of such cars to Russia are not planned. This was reported by Rossiyskaya Gazeta on December 3.
At the same time, Geely Emgrand sedans are still available at some dealers. However, back in November, modifications with a manual transmission disappeared from sale. With the classic automatic, the sedan was offered for 2.39–2.66 million rubles.
In the Russian market, Geely Emgrand's place was taken by the Belgee S50, the same model, but under a different brand, which is produced at the Belgee plant in Belarus. The sedan is equipped with a 122-horsepower naturally aspirated engine and costs from 1.85 million to 2.27 million rubles.
Earlier, according to the same principle, Coolray and Atlas Pro crossovers were dropped from the Geely line in Russia, which were replaced by the Belgee X50 and X70.
Earlier, on November 12, it was reported that the Russians had bought out almost all the Belgee S50 sedans brought to Russia. The model is in high demand in car dealerships, there are not enough cars for everyone who wants to buy them.
On November 11, it became known that the Belgee X70 crossover, an updated version of which went on sale in Russia in September in single-wheel drive variants, is now offered with all-wheel drive. The model is available in three trim levels, priced from 2.67 million to 2.95 million rubles.
