During the visit of Russian President Vladimir Putin to India, it is planned to approve the program of Russian-Indian economic cooperation and cultural exchanges until 2030, and Moscow's accession to the International Alliance of Big Cats will also be announced. This was announced by Russian Presidential aide Yuri Ushakov at a briefing on December 3.
According to Ushakov, a total of 10 intergovernmental and interdepartmental documents will be exchanged in the presence of the leaders.
"[Russian Interior Minister Vladimir] Kolokoltsev, for example, will sign two intergovernmental agreements on temporary employment of citizens of one state on the territory of another and on cooperation and combating illegal migration, as well as sign two joint actions through the Ministry of Internal Affairs on cooperation in countering the drug threat," he said.
Ushakov added that Health Minister Mikhail Murashko will sign an agreement on cooperation in the field of healthcare and medical education and science, and Russian Transport Minister Andrey Nikitin will sign a memorandum on training specialists to work on ships operating in polar waters.
He also noted that the head of Rospotrebnadzor, Anna Popova, will conclude an agreement on cooperation between the countries in the field of food safety, and the head of the Roscosmos state corporation, Dmitry Bakanov, will sign a memorandum of understanding with the Indian Space Department in the field of organizing the production of liquid rocket engines.
"It is expected that in addition to these documents, which I have listed, 10 intergovernmental documents, more than 15 agreements and memoranda will be signed between commercial structures," Ushakov added.
The Kremlin's press service announced on November 28 that Russian President Vladimir Putin will pay a state visit to India on December 4-5. The delegations of the Russian Federation and India will also discuss the current international and regional agenda. In addition, a separate meeting is planned between Putin and Indian President Draupadi Murmu.
On December 2, Putin said during a speech at the VTB forum "Russia is calling!" that Russia aims to bring cooperation with China and India to a qualitatively new level. According to him, many joint projects in the energy sector, industry, space, and agriculture are focused on this.
