Assembly of Evolute cars will be set up in the Moscow region

Assembly of Evolute cars will begin in the Moscow region. The production line should be operational in December 2025, representatives of the car company told the Izvestia correspondent on December 3.

The second line duplicates all posts and operations of the first line, which is located at the plant in the Lipetsk region. It has the same equipment, it performs operations for the assembly of engines and chassis, as well as the installation of interior trim panels, shock absorbers, telematics and GLONASS, power units, rear suspension, engine control units, high-voltage battery and wheels, refueling with technical fluids.

Inspection and calibration of individual components and systems of assembled vehicles, including camber/convergence adjustment, lighting devices, ADAS functions and all-round view, has also been organized at the site in the Moscow region. Minor defects are quickly repaired and components are replaced on the finishing line.

In November, serial production of the Evolute i-Space hybrid crossovers with welding, painting and small-scale assembly started at the plant in the Lipetsk region. In 2026, it is planned to transfer the i-Joy and i-Sky models to a full cycle. In the spring, the most complex welding line posts will be robotized.

Earlier, on December 1, the representatives of Evolve said that by 2032 the company intends to reach 5,500 localization points, which will make the bulk of the parts of Evolve cars completely Russian. Prior to that, on October 9, Evolute introduced the new generation i-Joy electric crossover in Russia.
