More than a thousand soldiers of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) have been surrounded in the city of Dimitrov in the Donetsk People's Republic (DPR) and are asking for help. This was reported on December 3 by the German newspaper Bild, citing one of the Ukrainian militants.
"We must either withdraw the contingent from Mirnograd (the Ukrainian name for Dmitrov. — Ed.), or to ensure stable logistics. Get us out of here or supply us! If not, the defenders of the city will remain there forever," the military told the publication.
