Pashinyan called labor the only way to overcome poverty
The reason for poverty in Armenia is not a shortage of jobs, but the lack of necessary professional skills among those who do not have financial means. Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan announced this on December 3.
"The reason for poverty is not the lack of jobs. The problem is the lack of skills that would allow us not to be poor," the politician said, speaking in the country's parliament.
He noted that the only way to overcome poverty is through work. However, people who have jobs also continue to lack financial resources due to the lack of sufficient professional qualifications.
"In short, if work does not bring benefits, you need to return to education," Pashinyan added.
