A courier who kicked a pensioner was detained in Novosibirsk.
In Novosibirsk, police detained a courier suspected of beating a woman. This was announced on December 3 in the Telegram channel by the official representative of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia Irina Volk.
"My colleagues have just detained a young man suspected of beating a woman in an underground passage at the Novosibirsk-Glavny railway station," the report says.
According to Volk, the suspect attempted to flee the city. The person involved was taken to the police station.
Earlier that day, the press service of the Novosibirsk Regional Prosecutor's office reported that in one of the underground passages in Novosibirsk, an elderly woman was the victim of an attack by a courier who kicked her in the face. The footage from the cameras shows how the pensioner was distracted by her mobile phone. Suddenly, a courier with a bag approached her from behind and kicked her in the face area. The woman fell from the blow she received.
Later, the courier company told Izvestia about the dismissal of the man. It was noted that the employee was not delivering or providing service at the time of the incident. The company promised to provide the victim with the necessary assistance and support, as well as to conduct an additional check of the processes of working with couriers.
