Telephone conversations between Russian President Vladimir Putin and American leader Donald Trump are possible at any time. This was announced on December 3 by Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov.

"A telephone conversation is possible at any time. It is possible to organize it promptly, but also, as my colleague [Presidential aide Yuri] said yesterday. Ushakov, now the work is being carried out at a working expert level," Peskov said during a briefing.

He also stressed that in order to organize high-level negotiations, it is necessary to achieve concrete results at the expert level.
