- Bloomberg has learned about the completion of Israel's transfer of missile defense systems to Germany
On December 3, 2025, the Israeli authorities will complete the transfer of Arrow 3 (Arrow 3) missile defense systems to Germany. This is reported by the Bloomberg news agency.
"On Wednesday, Israel will complete the transfer of the Arrow 3 missile defense system to Germany. This will be the first time that another country will have independent access to this high—tech military asset," the article says.
According to the agency, the contract between the governments of Israel and Germany was signed in 2023 and represents the largest military export deal in Israel's history. At the same time, the value of the agreement amounted to $4.2 billion. The supply includes launch systems, ammunition and radars.
It is noted that the Arrow 3 system, jointly produced by Israel and the United States, will be deployed at the Holzdorf airbase, about 120 km south of Berlin. Then the objects will appear in the north-west and south of the country.
The Politico newspaper announced on November 17 that Germany had decided to lift the arms embargo on Israel from the end of November. At the same time, it became known that Berlin plans to return to an individual assessment of applications for the supply of weapons.
