A drunk resident of Buryatia shot two men with a hunting rifle

In Buryatia, a local resident shot two men with a hunting rifle while intoxicated. This was reported on December 3 on the website of the Investigative Department of the Investigative Committee of the Republic.

According to the agency, the defendant, while at home, drank alcoholic beverages with a neighbor. Later, her adult son and a relative came to them. During the quarrel, the owner of the house took a hunting rifle, loaded it and, going out into the courtyard, shot the men in turn. The victims died from their gunshot wounds. After that, the person involved hid the gun in the forest.

"Currently, a preventive measure in the form of detention has been chosen against the accused. <...> During the interrogation conducted by the Investigative Committee investigator, the man admitted his guilt and gave detailed testimony about what happened," the message says.
