Seven-seater minivans Sollers SP7 began to be shipped to dealers in Russia. This was stated by Ilya Petrov, Director of Retail Sales at Avilon AG, Rossiyskaya Gazeta reported on December 3.

According to Petrov, the first disbursements to customers are scheduled for mid-December. The main buyers of cars are legal entities, business taxis and companies providing transfer services, as well as government agencies. The production of cars started in Yelabuga in early July.

The cost of the new product starts from 4.99 million rubles. The Sollers SP7 is equipped with a two-liter gasoline turbo engine with a capacity of 237 hp in conjunction with an 8-speed classic automatic, front-wheel drive. The list of equipment includes cruise control, active and passive safety systems, various intelligent driver assistants, and all-round cameras.

The interior of the Sollers SP7 features leather trim for all seats, electric adjustment drives, heating and ventilation of the first and second row seats, three—zone climate control, as well as electric sliding doors, trunk and sunroof. Passengers in the second row are offered separate armchairs with an additional massage function.

It is noteworthy that the Sollers SP7 minivan repeats the Chinese JAC RF8 in appearance and equipment, which will also enter the Russian market.

The head of AVTOVAZ, Maxim Sokolov, said on December 2 that work on the new Lada minivan was continuing, but it was planned to present it when "the market would revive" and "would be able to meet demand."
