The planned rotation of the IAEA observers took place at the NPP
The next scheduled change of inspectors of the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) has been successfully carried out at the Zaporizhia Nuclear Power Plant (NPP), the press service of the facility reported on December 3.
"Four specialists who joined the 32nd mission have begun work on monitoring and assessing the operational safety of the plant," the Telegram channel of the NPP says.
The previous 31st inspection team carried out a lot of work at the facility, monitoring the safe operation conditions of the plant during its complete external de-energization for 30 days. Repair work on external power transmission lines was also completed at this time.
Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov noted on November 28 that Russia highly appreciates cooperation with the IAEA. He pointed out that the head of the IAEA, Rafael Grossi, and the head of the Rosatom State Corporation, Alexei Likhachev, are in constant contact and regularly exchange information in the context of the situation at the Zaporizhia nuclear power plant.
