Seamstresses and welders will become the most sought-after working professions in Russia in the next seven years. This was announced on December 2 by Deputy Prime Minister of the Russian Federation Tatyana Golikova.

"And do you know which are the most sought-after working professions in this forecast for the long term? These are the professions whose winners will now take the stage. These are welders and seamstresses," she said at the awarding ceremony of the winners and prize—winners of the All-Russian Professional Skills Competition "The Best by Profession," RIA Novosti quoted her as saying.
