Politico reported on Musk's forecast for the next US president.
American billionaire and businessman Elon Musk predicted that US Vice President Jay Dee Vance will become the future president of the United States after the current head of the White House, Donald Trump. This was reported by Politico newspaper on December 2.
Musk predicted that the country was at the beginning of a "great 12-year period" consisting of a second Trump administration, followed by two consecutive terms by J.D. Vance.
It is specified that this year the businessman has established strong personal ties with the vice president. Despite the fact that Musk has distanced himself from the political arena, his significant increase in spending on political campaigns could be a significant help for Vance in the event of his nomination in 2028, if the billionaire decides to support him.
Musk said on June 28 that Trump's new bill to increase government spending would lead the country into debt slavery. He noted that this project will reduce the number of jobs and cause strategic damage to many modern industries.
On June 3, the businessman criticized the draft budget proposed by the White House, calling it an abomination. Later, on June 5, Musk publicly supported the idea of impeaching Trump. The president, in turn, wrote that terminating contracts with Musk is the easiest way to save money in the US budget. At the same time, Tesla shares fell sharply.
