UAV crews destroyed a stronghold and manpower of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the Kupyansk direction

Calculations of strike unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) of the Molniya aircraft type from the Zapad group of forces destroyed a camouflaged stronghold and manpower of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) in the Kupyansk area of the special military operation (SVO) during combat missions. This was announced on December 3 by the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation.

The ministry clarified that the operators of the Molniya aircraft-type UAV provided fire support to the assault units, destroying the stronghold and the enemy's manpower. The drones overcame the effects of electronic warfare (EW) systems and enemy air defense lines, successfully hitting the identified targets.

Preparations for the departure of UAVs begin in a repair shop, where they are assembled and tested, then the devices are equipped with appropriate ammunition. The Lightning-type drones can carry heavier weapons, thanks to which they were able to eliminate the positions of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, the defense Ministry noted.

The plastic frame and mobility allow Lightning operators to effectively cope with combat missions, quickly responding to a change in the situation.

"The main task is to defeat enemy strongholds, as there are fewer vehicles in the direction. We are also conducting round—the-clock surveillance of all the arteries approaching Kupyansk, trying to completely cut off their logistics," the UAV operator with the call sign Jaeger tells about his work.

On December 2, the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation reported that calculations of the unmanned systems of the Center group of forces destroyed equipment and manpower of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the Red Army area of its territory. The ministry clarified that in this way the Russian military thwarted an attempt to rotate the enemy on the line of contact.
