Special Envoy of the President of the United States Stephen Witkoff and son-in-law of the head of the White House Donald Trump Jared Kushner were offered to taste Russian cuisine in a Moscow restaurant, and a special menu dedicated to the 120th anniversary of the Metropol Hotel was prepared for them. The manager of the institution informed Izvestia about this on December 2.

According to him, there were various items on the menu that had ever been prepared at the Metropol. Guests from the United States were treated to red, black and pike caviar, Stolichny salad according to a 1961 recipe, "posikunchiki" with crab, Napoleon and some other items.
